IP Audio Solution for Qassim University medical city:

They have public address system as per the attached, which had been installed at the main hospital building and it is working nice
They need to expand the system to cover the outpatient clinic buildings
The outpatient clinics are 5 different buildings, each building has 3 floors
We can consider 30 ceiling speakers for each building
The distances between the main building and the others are about 400m – 500m (there are manholes for cabling)
The customer request is to connect all buildings together for a general and emergency announcement

Design Concept:

Use IP-600ED to encode analog microphone, wireless microphone and media player DMT200 over IP streaming

Use multiple units of IP call station IP-600TM for general paging, emergency paging and pre-recorded message annoucement

Use IP amplifiers of 5 units IP-6240 for each 5 different buildings, which covers 3 floors

Use IP POE speakers for each out patient clinic room

Use IP POE horn speaker for each security guard and parking area

Full system based on IP network for easy cable laybout

Use IP-600ED and IP-600NA IP encoder and IP decoder to integrate existing public address system with CMX IP AUDIO solution

Built-in weekly timer for programm control

Built-in remote trouble shoot service

With on-line technical maintenance capacity

With capacity to integrate with IP fire alarm system IP-600FA

IP POE Speaker Description:

The IP POE Powered Ceiling Speaker is the latest in IP technology. This Power over Ethernet (Compatible with IEEE 802.3at) mass notification device has network-controlled speaker volume, scheduled program broadcast, priority-based multicast streaming, group definition, working status supervision, remote online technical support and trouble shoot. The speaker is capable of broadcasting audio through multicast. The POE powered ceiling speaker enable to be built up an IP based sound system through a single CAT5 or CAT6 wire. The single CAT5 cable is used for control data, signal data and power supply, by this way, the layout cost will be much decreased without any consideration of AC nor DC power supply. The POE powered ceiling speaker is compatible with universal POE switch, thus the POE speaker works with existing POE LAN/WAN & internet network and fiber-optical cable, no need dedicated network to be built-up. So it is very useful for office, hotel, school, bank, factory & shopping mall where POE network is already there. External DC12V connector is also equipped in this POE speaker for standby power supply use.
